STEERING TORQUE SHAFT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION


  1. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

  2. INSTALL STEERING SLIDING YOKE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003CGDE01

      Align the matchmarks on the steering sliding yoke sub-assembly and the steering torque shaft assembly.

    2. Temporarily tighten the bolt.

      Tech Tips

      Do not torque the bolt.

  3. INSTALL STEERING TORQUE SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. A003BRME01

      Align the matchmarks on the steering torque shaft assembly and the steering bevel gear assembly.

    2. A003EAE

      Install the bolt.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 360 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }
    3. A003D4SE01

      Align the matchmarks on the steering torque shaft assembly and the power steering link assembly.

    4. A003FSCE01

      Install bolt (B) and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 360 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.1
