VANE PUMP (for 1GD-FTV) DISASSEMBLY


  1. SECURE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A003EVWE01

      Using SST, secure the vane pump assembly in a vise.

      SST
      09630-00014   ( 09631-00132 )

  2. REMOVE SUCTION PORT UNION


    1. A003AZM

      Remove the bolt and suction port union.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction port union.

  3. REMOVE PRESSURE PORT UNION SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003F2C

      Remove the pressure port union sub-assembly and O-ring.

  4. REMOVE REAR VANE PUMP HOUSING


    1. A003GJO

      Remove the 4 bolts and rear vane pump housing.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the rear vane pump housing.

  5. REMOVE VANE PUMP ROTOR


    1. Remove the 10 vane pump plates.

      Note

      Take care not to drop the vane pump plates.

    2. Remove the vane pump rotor.

  6. REMOVE VANE PUMP SHAFT WITH PULLEY

      Using 2 screwdrivers, remove the snap ring from the vane pump shaft with pulley.

    2. Remove the vane pump shaft with pulley.

  7. REMOVE VANE PUMP CAM RING


    1. Remove the vane pump cam ring from the vane pump front housing.

  8. REMOVE FRONT VANE PUMP SIDE PLATE


    1. Remove the front vane pump side plate from the vane pump front housing.

      Remove the O-ring from the front vane pump side plate.

    3. A003EUZ

      Remove the O-ring from the front vane pump housing.

  9. REMOVE VANE PUMP HOUSING OIL SEAL

      Using a screwdriver and piece of cloth, pry out the vane pump housing oil seal.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the front vane pump housing.
