Note
Remove any dirt or mud from piping with water to prevent it from entering the inside of the piping when removing, installing, or disassembling parts.
Keep removed or disassembled parts in order and prevent any dirt from attaching to them.
When removing, installing, or replacing piping or a clip, be sure not to allow it to come into contact with other parts.
Install the piping without twisting or forcibly bending.
After disconnecting the piping, do not start the engine until bleeding of the power steering system has been completed.
After connecting the piping, wipe any fluid from each part to check for fluid leaks.
Use Toyota genuine power steering fluid, ATF DEXRON II or III, or equivalent.
