REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.1
REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.2
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER
Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
Detach the 4 clips and remove the instrument panel finish lower.
Disconnect each connector.
Push the positions indicated by the arrows in the illustration to disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable and bonnet (hood) control cable assembly from the instrument panel finish lower.
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY NO.1
Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips
Detach the 3 claws and remove the instrument panel under cover sub-assembly No. 1.
REMOVE PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER
Detach the 6 claws and remove the parking brake hole cover.
Disconnect each connector.
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL TO FLOOR BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY (LHD)
Remove the 5 bolts and the instrument panel to floor brace sub-assembly.
REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL HANDLE ASSEMBLY (LHD)
Release the parking brake control handle.
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.
Lower the parking brake control handle.
Remove the 2 nuts, and separate the brake control handle assembly from body.
Remove the 4 bolts, and separate the parking brake cable assembly No.1 from the body. (Procedure A)
Separate the parking brake cable assembly No.1 from the parking brake equalizer. (Procedure B)
Remove the clamps.
Remove the 2 bolts and separate the parking brake cable assembly No.1 from the body.
Pull the parking brake cable assembly No.1 into the cabin and remove the parking brake control handle.
REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL HANDLE ASSEMBLY (RHD)
Release the parking brake control handle.
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.
Lower the parking brake control handle.
Remove the 2 nuts, and separate the parking brake control handle assembly.
Remove the 4 bolts, and separate the parking brake cable assembly No.1 from the body. (Procedure A)
Separate the parking brake cable assembly No.1 from the parking brake equalizer. (Procedure B)
Remove the clamps.
Remove the 2 bolts and separate the parking brake cable assembly No.1 from the body.
Pull the parking brake cable assembly No.1 into the cabin and remove it from the driver side together with the parking brake control handle.
