1KD-FTV VACUUM PUMP INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL VACUUM PUMP


    1. Apply engine oil to 2 new O-rings.

    2. A003D01

      Install the 2 O-rings and the vacuum pump with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 210 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Be careful not to drop the O-rings.

      • Make sure that the vacuum pump is securely installed.

    3. A003FQGE01

      Connect the vacuum hose (A) to the vacuum pump union.

    4. Connect the vacuum hose (B) to the vacuum pump union with the clip.

      Note

      Set the vacuum hose so that the paint mark faces upward.

  2. INSTALL TIMING GEAR COVER INSULATOR


    1. A003EY6

      Install the timing gear cover insulator with the bolt.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }
