FRONT SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL

  • Other than areas where instructions are provided, use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (RH POSITION)


    1. A003DBM

      Move the front seat assembly fully forward.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

    3. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

    5. Move the front seat assembly to the center of the seat slide rail. Set the seatback in the upright position.

    6. Disconnect the front seat inner belt assembly connector.

    7. Remove the front seat assembly.

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RH Side)

  3. REMOVE ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)


    1. Roll up the carpet and remove the engine service hole sub cover.

  4. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  5. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

      for LH Side:


      1. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps from the body.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      for RH side:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the bolt and bracket from the body.

    3. A003GQ1

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the bracket from the upper arm.

    4. A003IBX

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the bracket from the steering knuckle.

    5. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
