BRAKE ACTUATOR (w/o VSC) REMOVAL


  1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER

    for Standard Body

  4. REMOVE FRONT MUDGUARD

      Remove the 3 clips and the front mudguard.

  5. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT BRAKE TUBE WAY NO. 1

      Release the lock lever and disconnect the actuator connector.

    2. A003CVG

      Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the 6 brake tubes from the brake tube way No. 1.

    3. A003HM9

      Remove the 5 bolts. Remove the brake actuator assembly together with the front brake tube way No. 1 and brake tube.

      Note

      Do not bend or damage the brake tube.

      Tech Tips

      Remove these in the direction of the front of the vehicle.

  6. REMOVE BRAKE TUBE


    1. A003GZ6

      Using a union nut wrench, remove the 5 brake tubes and the brake tube way No. 1.

  7. REMOVE ACTUATOR BOLT COVER


    1. A003I3N

      Remove the 2 nuts and the actuator cover.

  8. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A003HXZ

      Remove the the 2 nuts and brake actuator assembly from the brake actuator bracket.
