VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM TS and CG Terminal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The signal check circuit detects trouble in the sensor or switch signal which cannot be detected by the DTC check.

Connecting terminals TS and CG of the DLC3 starts the check.

When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform zero point calibration and store system information Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY - TS of DLC3)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Disconnect the B92 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B92-24 (TS) - H23-12 (TS) Always Below 1 Ω
      B92-24 (TS) or H23-12 (TS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    OK
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CG of DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      H23-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
