VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1417

DTC Code DTC Name
C1417 High Power Supply Voltage Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

If a malfunction is detected in the power supply circuit, the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) stores this DTC and the fail-safe function prohibits ABS operation.

This DTC is stored when the IG1 terminal voltage deviates from the DTC detection condition due to a malfunction in the power supply or charging circuit such as the battery or alternator circuit, etc.

The DTC is canceled when the +BS terminal voltage returns to normal.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1417

Either of the following is detected:

  1. The +BS terminal voltage is 17.4 V or more for 0.8 seconds or more.

  2. When voltage at terminal +BS is 17.4 V or higher, power supply voltage of master cylinder pressure sensor is cut for 0.2 seconds or more.

  • Charging system

  • Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

  • Wire harness or connector

  • ABS SOL fuse

  • Battery
