FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM INSTALLATION


  1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM


    1. A003BPFE02

      Temporarily install the suspension lower arm and washer to the vehicle with the nut.

    2. Align the matchmarks on the front suspension No.1 camber adjust cam, front suspension No.2 camber adjust cam and suspension member.

    3. Temporarily tighten the washer and nut.

      Note

      Align the matchmarks.

    4. A003DVDE01

      Install front suspension lower arm to the front lower ball joint with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      52 N*m  { 530 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT STRUT BAR


    1. A003IDAE01

      Install the tube, strut bar cushion, strut bar retainer and washer to the strut bar and temporarily tighten the nut.

      Note

      Do not place the strut bar retainer and strut bar cushion in the wrong directions.

    2. A003DSKE01

      Install the strut bar to the front suspension lower arm with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      90 N*m  { 918 kgf*cm, 66 ft.*lbf }

  3. CONNECT FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER


    1. A003E46E02

      Connect the front shock absorber to the front suspension lower arm with the bolt.

      Torque:
      105 N*m  { 1,070 kgf*cm, 77 ft.*lbf }

  4. CONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the 2 retainers and cushion.

    2. Connect the stabilizer bar link to the front suspension lower arm.

    3. Install the cushion and retainer to the front suspension lower arm.

    4. A003BGAE01

      Install and tighten a new lock nut until the protrusion length of the thread is the standard length.

      Standard
      5 +- 1 mm (0.20 +- 0.04 in.)

  5. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

    Torque:
    100 N*m  { 1,020 kgf*cm, 74 ft.*lbf }

  6. STABILIZE SUSPENSION

  7. FULLY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM


    1. A003BPFE02

      Align the matchmarks on front suspension No.1 camber adjust cam and front suspension No.2 camber adjust cam and fully tighten the nut.

      Torque:
      170 N*m  { 1,730 kgf*cm, 125 ft.*lbf }

  8. FULLY TIGHTEN FRONT STRUT BAR


    1. A003C91E02

      Fully tighten the strut bar nut (rear side).

      Torque:
      138 N*m  { 1,410 kgf*cm, 102 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
