SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER SHAFT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER SHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. A003FCXE01

      Using SST, install a new oil seal until its surface is flush with the housing end surface.

      SST
      09950-60010   ( 09951-00290 )
      09950-70010   ( 09951-07100 )

    2. Apply MP grease to the oil seal lip.

  2. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER NO.2 SHAFT OIL SEAL

      Using SST, install a new oil seal until its surface is flush with the housing end surface.

      09950-70010   ( 09951-07100 )

    2. Apply MP grease to the oil seal lip.

  3. INSTALL REVERSE RESTRICT PIN NO.1

      Coat the reverse restrict pin No.1 with gear oil.

    2. Install the spring to the reverse restrict pin No.1.

    3. Install the reverse restrict pin No.1 and spring to the shift lever shaft housing.

  4. INSTALL REVERSE RESTRICT PIN SLOTTED SPRING PIN

      Using a pin punch (5 mm) and a hammer, install the slotted spring pin to the shift lever shaft housing.

  5. INSTALL SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER

      Coat the select spring seat No.1 with gear oil.

    2. Install the shift and select lever, select spring seat No.1 and spring to the shift lever shaft housing.

  6. INSTALL SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER SHAFT

      Coat the shift and select lever shaft with gear oil.

    2. Install the shift and select lever shaft to the shift lever shaft housing.

    3. A003G83

      Using a pin punch (5 mm) and a hammer, install the shift lever shaft set slotted pin to the shift and select lever shaft.

  7. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER BOOT

      Install the shift lever boot to the shift lever shaft housing.

  8. INSTALL SHIFT OUTER LEVER NO.1


    1. A003CAA

      Install the shift outer lever No.1 to the shift and select lever shaft.

  9. INSTALL LEVER LOCK PIN NO.2


    1. A003EAX

      Install the lever lock pin No.2 and nut to the shift outer lever No.1.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL SELECT LEVER SHAFT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003AO4

      Coat the select lever shaft sub-assembly with gear oil, and install it to the shift lever shaft housing.

  11. INSTALL SELECT OUTER LEVER


    1. A003ERE

      Install the select outer lever and washer to the select lever shaft sub-assembly.

  12. INSTALL SELECT OUTER LEVER LOCK PIN

      Install the select outer lever lock pin and nut to the select outer lever.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }
