Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the shift lock control ECU to the shift lock control unit assembly.

    2. Connect the shift lock solenoid connector to the shift lock control ECU.

  2. INSTALL LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING


    1. Install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator slide cover.

    2. Install the position indicator slide cover with the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the lower position indicator housing.

  3. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER SLIDE COVER GUIDE

      Attach the 2 claws to install the lower position indicator housing to the shift lock control unit assembly.

      Note

      Insert the hook first.

  4. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB


    1. Install the position indicator light cap to the position indicator light bulb.

    2. Install the position indicator light bulb to the wire socket.

      Attach the guide and connect the wire socket to the lower position indicator housing.

      Note

      Rotate the wire until the lock is engaged.
