TRANSMISSION WIRE REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE

  2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL GAUGE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the transmission oil level gauge from the transmission oil filler tube.

  3. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID


    1. A003AXX

      Remove the drain plug and gasket and drain the automatic transmission fluid.

    2. Install the drain plug with a new gasket.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 205 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003EFYE02

      Remove the oil filler tube with 2 bolts.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the oil filler tube.

  5. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003H9X

      Uniformly loosen the 19 bolts and remove the transmission oil pan sub-assembly.

    2. A003DI9E01

      Using oil pan seal cutter, remove the transmission oil pan.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the oil pan and flange.

      • Do not incline the oil pan because of any fluid will remain in the oil pan.

    3. A003HRJE04

      Remove the 3 magnets from the transmission oil pan.

  6. REMOVE VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY


    1. A003AUNE04

      Remove the oil strainer assembly and 3 gaskets with 4 bolts.

  7. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION WIRE


    1. A003F43

      Disconnect the temperature sensor and 4 transmission solenoid connectors from the transmission valve body.

  8. REMOVE TRANSMISSION WIRE


    1. A003GMB

      Disconnect the transmission wire connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and pull out the transmission wire.

    3. A003EXHE01

      Remove the O-ring from the transmission wire.
