STARTER (for 2.0 kW Type) REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover)

  4. REMOVE ENGINE SIDE UNDER COVER LH (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover)

  5. REMOVE ENGINE SIDE UNDER COVER RH (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover)

  6. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A003GTG

      Remove the 2 bolts, then disconnect the ground cable and wiring harness clamp bracket.

    2. A003FUE

      Open the terminal cap.

    3. Remove the nut, and then disconnect the starter wire harness.

    4. Disconnect the starter connector.

      Remove the 2 bolts and starter assembly.
