STARTER (for 3.0 kW Type) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL STARTER


    1. Temporarily install the starter assembly with the nut.

    2. Temporarily install the wiring harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

    3. Tighten the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      68 N*m  { 693 kgf*cm, 50 ft.*lbf }

    4. Connect the starter wire with the nut.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 215 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

    5. Connect the starter connector.

    6. Close the terminal cap.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE UNDER COVER RH

  3. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE UNDER COVER LH

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER


    1. Install the No. 2 engine under cover with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
