STARTER (for 2.2 kW Type) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

      Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission control shaft lever assembly.

    2. Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE BRACKET (for Automatic Transmission)

      Remove the 2 bolts and the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket from the automatic transmission housing.

  4. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A003CHWE01

      for Wide Body:

      Remove the bolt and ground cable.

    2. A003CFQ

      Open the terminal cap.

    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal 30.

    4. Disconnect the terminal 50 connector from the starter.

    5. A003GRC

      for Automatic Transmission:


      1. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and starter.

    6. A003DEC

      for Manual Transmission:


      1. Remove the bolt, nut and starter.
