    1. A003BY0E01

      Enter self-diagnostic mode 1.

      1. Turn OFF the power slide door main switch.

      2. Turn the ignition switch ON.

      5. Within 3 seconds, turn ON the power slide door main switch.

      6. Check that the buzzer sounds (see buzzer pattern 2) and that the system enters self-diagnostic mode 1.

    2. Start the inspection.

      Note

If the slide door operational conditions are not followed exactly, the system will change from self-diagnostic mode to normal operation mode.

      1. Push the auto slide door control switch assembly and fully open the slide door.

      2. Pull the inside door handle, and fully close the slide door.

        Note

If the outside door handle is operated during this inspection, a self-diagnostic code may be output when the system enters self-diagnostic mode 2, regardless of the status (normal/malfunctioning) of the slide door.

      3. Perform the operations described in the table below.

      4. When changes in the input signals are detected, check that the buzzer emits a sound for 0.5 seconds. If the buzzer does not sound, proceed to the relevant troubleshooting page in accordance with the table.
