FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    1. Inspect the resistance.


      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Standard resistance
        2.21 to 2.69 kΩ at 20°C (68°F)
        0.287 to 0.349 kΩ at 80°C (176°F)

        Note

        When checking the fuel temperature sensor in water, be careful not to allow water to enter the terminals. Wipe water off the sensor after the check.
