CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Dual VVT-i)

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/ Dual VVT-i)

  3. REMOVE ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Dual VVT-i)


    1. Roll up the carpet, and remove the 5 bolts and engine service hole sub cover.

  4. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR (w/ Dual VVT-i)

  5. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (w/ Dual VVT-i)

      for Intake Side:


      1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

      2. Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor.

    2. for Exhaust Side:


      1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

      2. A003G5J

        Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor.

  6. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (w/o Dual VVT-i)


    1. A003I53

      Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and the camshaft position sensor.
