ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD ASSEMBLY

    Note


    • Avoid physical shock to the accelerator pedal.

    • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal assembly.


    1. A003FAW

      Install the accelerator pedal with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the accelerator pedal connector.

  2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform initialization procedures Click here.

      Note

      Certain systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the cable to the battery negative (-) terminal.
