CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  2. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR (w/ Dual VVT-i)

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A003H7TE01

      Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.

    2. A003GKJ

      Remove the 2 bolts to disconnect the vane pump assembly.

  4. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (w/ Dual VVT-i)


    1. for Intake Side:


      1. Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

      2. A003GVA

        Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      3. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

    2. for Exhaust Side:


      1. Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

      2. A003FVX

        Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

      3. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

  5. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (w/o Dual VVT-i)


    1. Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

    2. A003D06

      Remove the bolt and the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
