EXHAUST PIPE (w/ DPF) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE EXHAUST TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. A003H68

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the tailpipe from the center exhaust pipe and remove the gasket.

    3. Remove the tailpipe from the exhaust pipe support.

  2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. A003DGV

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

    2. except Super Long Wheelbase:

      Disconnect the center exhaust pipe from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. for Super Long Wheelbase, for Type A:

      Disconnect the center exhaust pipe from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

    4. for Super Long Wheelbase, for Type B:

      Disconnect the center exhaust pipe from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.

    5. Remove the gasket.

  3. REMOVE AIR TUBE COVER

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the 2 clips and clamp, and remove the air tube cover.

  4. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector and detach the clamp.

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the front exhaust pipe.

  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature sensor connector and detach the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor connector and detach the 2 clamps.

    3. Disconnect the No. 3 exhaust gas temperature sensor connector and detach the 2 clamps.

      Disconnect the No. 1 exhaust pipe air hose and No. 7 exhaust pipe air hose from the front exhaust pipe.

    5. A003G3K

      Remove the 2 No. 4 exhaust pipe supports.

    6. Remove the 3 nuts and front exhaust pipe.

    7. Remove the gasket.

  6. REMOVE EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    Note

    If the sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.


    1. Using a 14 mm union nut wrench, remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    Note

    If the sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.


    1. Using a 14 mm union nut wrench, remove the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  8. REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    Note

    If the sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.


    1. Using a 14 mm union nut wrench, remove the No. 3 exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE PROTECTOR


    1. A003BOE

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 exhaust pipe protector.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE PROTECTOR


    1. A003FDO

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 exhaust pipe protector.

  11. REMOVE CATALYTIC CONVERTER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003AYG

      Remove the bolt and catalytic converter bracket.
