  1. INSPECT NO. 4 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 50°C (122°F) 7894 to 12187 Ω
      1 - 2 650°C (1202°F) 73 to 79 Ω

      Tech Tips

      The temperature indicated in "Condition" is the temperature of the No. 4 exhaust gas temperature sensor.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 4 exhaust gas temperature sensor.
