      Component without harness connected

      (Solar Sensor)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D37-3 (TSP) - D37-1 (S5) Solar sensor covered with a cloth ∞ Ω
      D37-3 (TSP) - D37-1 (S5) Solar sensor exposed to electric light Except ∞ Ω
      D37-2 (TSD) - D37-1 (S5) Solar sensor covered with a cloth ∞ Ω
      D37-2 (TSD) - D37-1 (S5) Solar sensor exposed to electric light Except ∞ Ω

      If the resistance is not as specified, replace the solar sensor.

      Tech Tips

      Use an incandescent light for inspection. Bring it within about 30 cm (11.8 in.) of the solar sensor.
