CONDENSER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. Remove the front bumper cover Click here.

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM


    1. for HFC-134a(R134a):

    2. for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf):

      Click here

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET

      Remove 2 bolts, nut and radiator grille bracket.

  4. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the condenser.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  5. DISCONNECT SUCTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction pipe sub-assembly from the condenser.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction pipe sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  6. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT


    1. A004U35

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 upper radiator supports.

    2. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions.

  7. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A004P3P

      Remove the 4 bolts, upper radiator support sub-assembly LH and upper radiator support sub-assembly RH.

  8. REMOVE CONDENSER ASSEMBLY WITH RECEIVER


    1. A004TYL

      Remove the condenser assembly with receiver as shown in the illustration.
