FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly)

      		 *2 Connector A
      *3 Connector B - -
      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

      A1 - B1

      A2 - B2

      		 Always Below 1 Ω
      A3 (+) - A4 (E)

      Seat belt fastened

      (Buckle switch is on)

      		 1 MΩ or higher
      A3 (+) - A4 (E)

      Seat belt unfastened

      (Buckle switch is off)

      		 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      		 *2 Connector A
      *3 Connector B - -
      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A1 (+) - B3 Always Below 1 Ω
      A2 (E) - B1

      Seat belt fastened

      (Buckle switch is on)

      		 1 MΩ or higher
      A2 (E) - B1

      Seat belt unfastened

      (Buckle switch is off)

      		 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly.
