FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY(for Slide) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A004ROPE01
      *1 Backward
      *2 Forward
      *3 Component without harness connected: (Front Power Seat Motor Assembly)
      *4 BACK

      Check the operation of the seat adjuster.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

      2. Check that the seat adjuster moves smoothly.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 3 (FWD)

        Battery negative (-) → 4 (BACK)

        		 Forward

        Battery positive (+) → 4 (BACK)

        Battery negative (-) → 3 (FWD)

        		 Backward

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat adjuster assembly.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A004T1OE01
      *1 Backward
      *2 Forward
      *3 Component without harness connected: (Front Power Seat Motor Assembly)
      *4 BACK

      Check the operation of the seat adjuster.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

      2. Check that the seat adjuster moves smoothly.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 4 (FWD)

        Battery negative (-) → 3 (BACK)

        		 Forward

        Battery positive (+) → 3 (BACK)

        Battery negative (-) → 4 (FWD)

        		 Backward

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat adjuster assembly.
