  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP (for Driver Side)

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  2. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the 2 screws and vertical adjusting handle LH.

  3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

      *1 Protective Tape

      Raise the reclining adjuster release handle LH to reveal the claw. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Detach the 2 rubber bands.

    2. A004UDT

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Detach the hook and claw and remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

    4. A004PEA

      w/ Lumbar Support:

      Disconnect the connector.

  5. REMOVE LUMBAR FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support)

  6. REMOVE SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and 2 guides.

    3. A004QCY

      Detach the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness and remove the seat slide position sensor protector.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. A004SCD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the hook and remove the front seat inner cushion shield LH.

  10. REMOVE RECLINING CONTROL LEVER LH

      Detach the 2 hooks and remove the spring.

      Remove the nut A.

    3. Using a 15 mm socket wrench, remove the nut B and reclining control lever LH.

  11. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT CUSHION BRACKET (for Driver Side)

      Remove the clip and disconnect the connector link.

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the front outer seat cushion bracket with connector link.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the front seat hinge pin and front outer seat cushion bracket from the connector link.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A004QQO

        Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Detach the wire harness clamp.

      3. Detach the claw and disconnect the connector.

      4. A004S9A

        Disconnect the connector.

    3. A004PCV

      for Front Passenger Side:

      Detach the claw and disconnect the connector.

    4. A004S3R

      w/ Lumbar Support:

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    5. Detach the 9 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A004S2O

      Detach the 13 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Perform this procedure when it is necessary to remove and reinstall or replace the separate type front seatback assembly.

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Detach the claw and disconnect the connector.

    3. A004P5E

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    4. w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. A004SOJ

        Detach the hook from the bottom of the separate type front seatback cover.

      2. A004Q05

        Detach the 2 hooks.

      3. A004THG

        Detach the 2 hooks and disconnect the 2 straps.

      4. A004RL8

        Pass the 2 straps through the 2 holes of the separate type front seatback pad to the surface.

      5. A004TKA

        Disconnect the connector.

      6. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    5. A004NVY

      Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 "TORX" bolts and separate type front seatback assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A004P5E

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    2. A004SOJ

      Detach the hook from the bottom of the separate type front seatback cover.

    3. A004Q05

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    4. A004THG

      Detach the 2 hooks and disconnect the 2 straps.

    5. A004RL8

      Pass the 2 straps through the 2 holes of the separate type front seatback pad to the surface.

      Detach the claw and remove the seat climate control controller LH.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH (w/ Lumbar Support)

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. A004OC9

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Detach the claw and remove the front seat wire LH.

  23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)


    1. A004REP

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A004U02

      Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 "TORX" bolts and front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY

      for Front Passenger Side:

      Detach the 2 clamps and remove the connector holder.

    2. A004MU0

      Detach the 8 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  26. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER


    1. A004PPL

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear upper seat track cover.

  27. REMOVE REAR UPPER NO. 2 SEAT TRACK COVER

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear upper No. 2 seat track cover.

  28. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)
