FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      *1 Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the front seat cushion shield LH.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH WITH FRONT SEAT NO. 1 INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Detach the 2 rubber bands.

    2. A004NVA

      Remove the 2 screws and detach the 2 claws.

    3. A004QS3

      Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Pull the front seat cushion shield LH to detach the hook and remove the front seat cushion shield LH with front seat No. 1 inner cushion shield LH.

      for Driver Side:

      Disconnect the connector.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 1 INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. A004PM1

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat No. 1 inner cushion shield LH from the front seat cushion shield LH.

  5. REMOVE LUMBAR FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Driver Side)

  6. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

  7. REMOVE SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and 2 guides.

      Detach the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness and remove the seat slide position sensor protector.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the hook and remove the front seat inner cushion shield LH.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    2. A004OP8

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    4. Detach the claw and disconnect the connector.

      Disconnect the connector.

      for Front Passenger Side:

      Detach the claw and disconnect the connector.

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    8. Disconnect the connector.

    9. Detach the 6 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Detach the 13 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

    Tech Tips

    Perform this procedure when it is necessary to remove and reinstall or replace the separate type front seatback assembly LH.

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Detach the claw and disconnect the connector.

    3. A004SIT

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    4. A004R1S

      Detach the 2 hooks from the bottom of the separate type front seatback cover.

    5. A004Q05

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    6. A004THG

      Detach the 2 hooks and disconnect the 2 straps.

    7. A004RL8

      Pass the 2 straps through the 2 holes of the separate type front seatback pad to the surface.

      for Driver side:

      Disconnect the connector.

    9. A004SPL

      Disconnect the connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    10. A004TXK

      Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 "TORX" bolts and separate type front seatback assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A004SIT

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    2. A004R1S

      Detach the 2 hooks from the bottom of the separate type front seatback cover.

    3. A004Q05

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    4. A004THG

      Detach the 2 hooks and disconnect the 2 straps.

    5. A004RL8

      Pass the 2 straps through the 2 holes of the separate type front seatback pad to the surface.

      Remove the 5 hog rings from the center of the separate type front seatback pad.

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    8. Remove the 2 hog rings.

    12. Remove the separate type front seatback cover.

      Detach the claw and remove the seat climate control controller LH.

  22. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and position control ECU assembly.

  23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH

      Disconnect the connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    3. Detach the 3 wire harness clamps.

    4. Detach the claw and remove the front seat wire LH.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT INNER ANCHOR BRACKET COVER RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the front seat belt inner anchor bracket cover RH

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

      Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 "TORX" bolts and front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  28. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY

      for Front Passenger Side:

      Detach the 2 clamps and remove the connector holder.

    2. A004QJ6

      Detach the 8 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  29. REMOVE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Vertical)
