PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:B2002

DTC Code DTC Name
B2002 Open in Seat Belt Motor RH Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The seat belt control ECU receives collision information from the driving support ECU and skid control ECU via CAN communication, and tightens the seat belt by operating the motor inside the front seat outer belt RH.

When DTC B2002 is stored, DTCs B2026 and B2027 are not stored.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B2002 During the initial check or with the ignition switch ON, the seat belt motor RH circuit has an open (the voltage at terminal MOR+ is 8.5 V or higher and the voltage at terminal MOR- is below 2 V) for 1 second or more.
  • Front seat outer belt assembly RH

  • Harness or connector

  • Seat belt control ECU
