ILLUMINATION CONTROL SYSTEM (Illuminated Entry System)
Tech Tips
When inspecting the following functions, make sure that the map light door switch is on.
The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:
| Control | Outline | Lighting |

| Actuation Area-linked*2 | When the key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on. |
|
| Door Control Transmitter-linked | When any door is unlocked using the transmitter, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on. |
|
| Door Open-linked | When any door is opened, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on. |
|
| Door Close-linked | When all the doors are closed, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off. | |
| Door Lock-linked | When all doors are locked, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off. |
|
| Ignition Switch-linked*1 Engine Switch-linked*2 |
When the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on. |

BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM
The battery saving control system has the following control functions:

| Basic function | When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is outside the vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*1 | Engine switch illumination*1 |
| Interior light auto cut function | The illumination of the items listed on the right will turn off 20 minutes after the ignition switch is turned off, regardless of whether the doors are open or closed and regardless of the map light switch position. |
