LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK(for Sedan) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Check operation of the door lock motor.


      1. A004QCAE05
        *1 Component without harness connected: (Luggage Compartment Door Lock)
        *2 Close
        *3 Open

        Move the door lock to the close position.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check operation of the door lock motor.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (ACT+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (E)

        		 Open

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

    2. Check the door courtesy light switch.

        *1 Component without harness connected: (Luggage Compartment Door Lock)
        *2 Close
        *3 Open

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2 (E) - 3 (D+) Open Below 1 Ω
        2 (E) - 3 (D+) Close 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door lock assembly.
