PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

      Push in the brushes and slide the brush cap to hold the brushes in place.

      Install the generator regulator assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      4.3 N*m  { 44 kgf*cm, 38 in.*lbf }

   3. Push in the brush cap.

      Tech Tips

      By pushing in the brush cap after installing the generator regulator assembly, the brushes pop out and contact the slip rings.

   4. Install the generator rear end cover with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }
