NAVIGATION SYSTEM Data Signal Circuit between Stereo Jack Adapter and Extension Module

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the navigation ECU via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the D170*1 or D133*2 navigation ECU connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the D121 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D170-2 (US1-) - D121-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      D170-3 (US1+) - D121-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      D170-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      D170-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D133-2 (US1-) - D121-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      D133-3 (US1+) - D121-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      D133-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      D133-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
