REAR BUMPER(for Wagon) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

   

   
   

   1. Remove the rear bumper pad.

2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

   2. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

      

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

5. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

6. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

7. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

8. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

9. REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

10. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER COVER LH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear upper bumper cover.

11. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER COVER RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
