REAR BUMPER(for Sedan) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear bumper upper retainer.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear bumper No. 2 side retainer.

    2. Install the screw.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear bumper side retainer.

    2. Install the 2 screws and rear bumper bracket.

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH


    1. Install the rear bumper side seal with the 3 clips.

    2. Install the nut and a new grommet.

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH


    1. Install the rear bumper side seal with the 2 clips.

    2. Install the nut and a new grommet.

  9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the rear bumper arm with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 1 REINFORCEMENT


    1. Install the rear bumper No. 1 reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  12. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. w/ Rear Fog Light:

      Connect the No. 2 frame wire connector.

    2. Attach the 16 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

    4. Install the 8 clips.

    5. Install the 2 screws.
