FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

      *a 90°

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip and clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the pin hold clip and clip on the other side.

    2. Remove the 9 screws and 4 grommets.

      Remove the 2 clips and screw.

      *a Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

    5. Detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

    6. w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

    7. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight washer hose, and then drain the washer fluid.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

    8. Remove the protective tape.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Detach the 5 clamps.

    2. A004MKW

      Remove the 8 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A004TMI

      Remove the screw and bolt.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
