BACK-UP LIGHT ASSEMBLY(for Wagon) REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH side.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE UPPER BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE REAR LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and rear light lens and body LH.

  6. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING LH


    1. Remove the rear light packing LH.

      Note

      Be sure to remove the gasket completely from the body.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR FOG LIGHT BULB (for LH Side)


    1. A004OLC

      Turn the rear light socket and wire LH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the socket.

    2. Remove the No. 1 rear fog light bulb from the rear light socket and wire LH.

  8. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB (for RH Side)


    1. A004RGN

      Turn the rear light socket and wire RH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the socket.

    2. Remove the back up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire RH.

  9. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE LH


    1. A004R3T

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear light socket and wire LH.

    3. Disconnect the connector.
