RAIN SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 RAIN SENSOR COVER


    1. A004SAV

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the rain sensor cover.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 RAIN SENSOR COVER


    1. A004OKA

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 rain sensor cover.

  3. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR


    1. A004MTG

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the rain sensor.

      Note

      Do not touch the silicon mixture directly with a finger.

    2. A004NBE

      Disconnect the connector.

      Note

      Do not touch the silicon mixture directly with a finger.

  4. CLEAN WINDSHIELD GLASS

    Tech Tips


    • The rain sensor tape is reusable. Only replace the tape if it is damaged or contaminated.

    • Check that there is no rain sensor tape residue remaining on the windshield glass. If there is, remove the residue before installing the rain sensor.
