HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the washer jar.

    2. Disconnect the headlight cleaner washer motor and pump connector.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure that the headlight cleaner washer motor and pump assembly is installed to the washer jar.

    3. Fill the washer jar with washer fluid.

      Component without harness connected

      (Headlight Cleaner Motor and Pump Assembly)

      Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 of the headlight cleaner washer motor and pump assembly, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2.

    5. Check that washer fluid flows from the washer jar.

      OK
      Washer fluid flows from the washer jar.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly.
