INPUT SHAFT DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INPUT SHAFT REAR BEARING SHAFT SNAP RING


    1. A004SRI

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the input shaft rear bearing shaft snap ring from the input shaft.

  2. REMOVE INPUT SHAFT REAR RADIAL BALL BEARING


    1. A004RI2E01

      Using SST, remove the input shaft rear radial ball bearing from the input shaft.

  3. REMOVE 6TH DRIVE GEAR


    1. A004MJME01

      Using SST and a press, press out the 6th drive gear from the input shaft.

  4. REMOVE 3RD DRIVE GEAR


    1. A004T8CE01

      Using SST and a press, press out the 3rd drive gear from the input shaft.

    2. A004RU4

      Remove the spacer from the input shaft.

  5. REMOVE 4TH DRIVE GEAR


    1. A004NTOE01

      Using SST and a press, press out the 4th drive gear from the input shaft.

  6. REMOVE INPUT SHAFT SNAP RING


    1. A004QZQ

      Using 2 screwdrivers and a hammer, tap out the snap ring from the input shaft.

  7. REMOVE INPUT SHAFT FRONT BEARING


    1. A004NYJE01

      Using SST and a press, remove the front bearing from the input shaft.
