INPUT SHAFT INSPECTION

  1. INSPECT INPUT SHAFT


    1. A004OZO

      Check the input shaft for wear and damage.

    2. Using a dial indicator, measure the input shaft runout.

      Maximum runout
      0.03 mm (0.00118 in.)

      If the runout is more than the maximum, replace the input shaft.

    3. A004P18E01

      Using a micrometer, measure the outer diameter of the input shaft journal surface.

      Standard Outer Diameter
      Item Specified Condition
      A 30.008 to 30.020 mm (1.1815 to 1.1818 in.)
      B 32.002 to 32.018 mm (1.2600 to 1.2604 in.)

      If the outer diameter is less than the minimum, replace the input shaft.
