CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  4. REMOVE FRONT LOWER BUMPER ABSORBER

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

    Click here

  7. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE BATTERY

  9. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

  10. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

  11. REMOVE CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Using a union nut wrench, separate the clutch release cylinder to accumulator tube from the clutch accumulator assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to catch the fluid.

    2. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the accumulator to flexible hose tube from the clutch accumulator assembly and flexible hose.

      Use a container to catch the fluid.

    3. Remove the bolt and accumulator to flexible hose tube from the clutch accumulator assembly.

    4. Remove the clip and separate the flexible hose from the clutch accumulator assembly.

      Remove the 3 bolts and clutch accumulator assembly.
