OIL PUMP DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP BODY AND GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY

    1. Using a T30 "TORX" wrench, remove the 16 bolts and stator shaft from the oil pump body.

  3. INSPECT CLEARANCE OF FRONT OIL PUMP BODY AND GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

    1. Remove the O-ring from the oil pump body.

  5. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR

    1. Remove the front oil pump drive gear from the oil pump body.

  6. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR

    1. Remove the front oil pump driven gear from the oil pump body.

  7. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL

    A004TIME01

    1. Mount the oil pump between aluminum plates in a vise.

    2. Using SST, tap out the oil seal from the oil pump body.
