SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    A004Q2TE03

    1. Install the 2 shift switches and 2 brackets with the 4 screws.

      Torque:
      1.7 N*m  { 17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf }

      *1 Shift Switch
      *2 Bracket

      Note

      Make sure that the brackets are securely installed.

      *1 Switch Wire

      Connect the 2 switch wire connectors to the shift switches.

      Connect the connector to the steering wheel.

    4. Attach the clamp to the steering wheel.

  2. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

  3. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE

  4. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL STEERING PAD

  6. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER

  7. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER

    Click here

  8. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT

  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    • for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column:

      Reset the Autoaway/Return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  10. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
