OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)


    1. Remove the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly Click here.

  2. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the claw and open the flexible hose clamp.

    2. Disconnect the No. 3 oil cooler inlet hose and transmission oil cooler hose from the oil cooler.

      Remove the 2 bolts, nut and oil cooler.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the breather plug hose, No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose from the No. 1 oil cooler tube, and disconnect the No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 1 oil cooler outlet hose from the transaxle.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 1 oil cooler tube with oil cooler hoses.

      Remove the No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 1 oil cooler outlet hose.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 2 claws and open the 2 flexible hose clamps.

    2. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler hose from the radiator to.

    3. Disconnect the No. 3 oil cooler inlet hose from the radiator.

    4. Remove the bolt and No. 2 oil cooler tube with oil cooler hoses.

      Remove the No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose, No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose, No. 3 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 3 oil cooler outlet hose from the No. 2 oil cooler tube.
