DESCRIPTION
If a malfunction in the vehicle speed signal (a rapid change in vehicle speed) being output from the skid control ECU is detected while the cruise control system is in operation, the ECM determines there to be a momentary interruption or noise, and stores a DTC.

CHECK FOR DTC
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
Turn the cruise control switch on.
Push the cruise control switch to -SET to activate cruise control.
