INTERCOOLER(for Automatic Transaxle) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the intercooler with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose to the intercooler.

  2. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the lower radiator support RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    2. Attach the clamp to the vacuum transmitting pipe, and then install the lower radiator support LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR TUBE

  5. INSTALL NO. 3 AIR HOSE

  6. INSTALL INTERCOOLER AIR HOSE

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

  9. INSTALL HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

  11. INSTALL INJECTOR DRIVER

    Click here

  12. CONNECT NO. 1 WATER HOSE CLAMP BRACKET

    Click here

  13. INSTALL CONDENSER ASSEMBLY WITH RECEIVER

  14. CONNECT SUCTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  15. CONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  16. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  17. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

  18. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

  19. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

  20. INSTALL AMBIENT THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY

  22. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET

  23. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

  24. INSTALL NO. 1 MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR BRACKET (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

  26. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER

  27. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY

  29. INSTALL BATTERY INSULATOR

  30. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  31. CONNECT CABLE TO POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  32. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  33. ADJUST AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID


    1. Adjust automatic transaxle fluid Click here.

  34. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

  35. CHARGE REFRIGERANT

  36. WARM UP ENGINE

  37. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK
