EGR VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. A004QDH

      Install a new gasket to the EGR cooler assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a T30H "TORX" socket wrench, install the EGR valve assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    3. Install 2 new EGR cooler hoses to the EGR cooler assembly and EGR valve assembly.

    4. Hold SST and tighten the SST bolt as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Turn
      *2 Hold
      SST
      09521-24010

      Note

      Do not damage the EGR cooler hose.

    5. Remove SST from the EGR cooler hose clamp.

    6. Install the grommet to the EGR cooler assembly.
