MONOLITHIC CONVERTER(for DPF) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 4 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR


    1. A004SVH

      Remove the 4 bolts and No. 4 manifold converter insulator.

  3. REMOVE MANIFOLD CONVERTOR INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A004PU6

      Remove the bolt and manifold converter insulator.

  4. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A004R8H

      Remove the bolt, nut and manifold stay.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A004P4A

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold stay.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A004TLX

      Remove the 2 bolts, nut and No. 2 exhaust manifold stay.

  7. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. A004P5L

      Remove the 3 nuts and exhaust manifold converter.

    3. Remove the gasket from the turbocharger.

  8. REMOVE VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  12. REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM PIPE

      Using a 17 mm union nut wrench, loosen the union nut.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 1 vacuum pipe.

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 VACUUM PIPE


    1. A004R7L

      Using a 14 mm union nut wrench, loosen the union nut.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 2 vacuum pipe.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR


    1. A004OFT

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold converter insulator.
